Just posting to get the post count up here and to try to open some discussion on the ins and outs of using OT for futures.
For openers I will say that my goal is capturing trend moves in futures. Of all the methods I have tested and experimented with I have found that variants of GMMA and Trending strategies have been the most effective.
Anybody care to chime in.

Who do you use for your futures data?

I am using CSIData for EOD. When I was trading intraday I used IQFeed for RT data.
I find I prefer longer term trades but I like to finesse entry and exit points on intraday charts rather than MOO and MOC. I use intraday charts on Tradingview.com, Barchart.com and also on the IB. I trade futures options on Tastytrade and they furnish intraday futures charts as well.

Actually, I'm very interested in working to develop Omnitrader's capabilities in the futures market. Such an elusive area to begin with, I'm frankly more interested in EOD trading as the institutional intraday activity is incredibly wild and full of false positives.

Hi to all,
OT is fantastic for trading Futures and Forex Real Time period.
The best feature is being able to use the Filter block with time to start and end Trading inside the flow chart your strategy to trade, (the London power hours GMT is a must and with the change over to US to close).
With a little bit of effort using omnitrader, strategy maker and wizard you can build a symbol list and strategy package to die for.
Regards
