I included a Tradesope block in a strategy and it crashes OT when running the ToDo list. Tradescope works fine when added to a chart and tested for the desired symbol set and tradescope.

Even after removing the tradescope strategy block OT crashed when running the ToDo list and apparently the profile is corrupted. (log attached)

Correction: This problem only occurs when I have a couple intraday data periods in the profile. I only test on the daily but the presence of the intraday data periods causes OT to crash when testing as described above.

I removed the intraday data periods and was able to successfully run the ToDo list and to include the tradescope strategy block in one of the strategies.

I am using PR2E. The instability of an EOD profile with intraday data periods has never gone away for me and I look forward to finding a solution for that.

{Also, when running samples with tradescope, all open charts close and have to be re-configured. (Hint, hint. A chart window template would really be nice. <:)}

Larry, we recently updated our Tradescopes, so it's possible the old ones were causing errors. Try deleting the default TradeScope strategies & TradeScope folder (save any customs you made if you need them). Then reinstall the module from here.

Barry,

Whether this update also fixed the issues relating to TradeScope as reported by me in the following post?

Can you list what other changes have been made to the TradeScopes?

Thanks but no help. The problem of intraday time frames in an EOD profile has been around for a long time and I still have not been able to find out why.
If I could just have a couple intraday time frames not tested but just for reference in my profile I wouldn't even use RT.
It seems the down loading of data for the intraday time frames gets hung up in a loop judging by watching the process status.

Vinay, we only updated the training for the TradeScopes with more current data. Nothing else, including the strategy settings, was changed.
