Would anyone know what the criteria was for selection of the list of stocks used in OptionTrader 5? I'd like to expand on the list but when I create my own list using a wider list, my results don't look like those which came in the sample profile for either the conservative or agressive method.

You mean Debit Magic? Jeff used the SP100 mixed with NAS100 to get the basic list of stocks used in Debit Magic. But he also made the following changes:

Removed PCLN, LVNTA
Added MON, QQQ, SPY, TWX

Barry,

Thanks for the feedback. Just curious, and for my understanding, did he make the change in symbols based on liquidity related metrics or other criteria?

Oh and yes, I should have clarified and stated for the Debit Magic profile.

Jeff removed PCLN & LVNTA since they were no longer trading. He isn't sure about the additions, but says, "the list is those indexes constituents for the most part and those others shouldn’t have any significant effect on overall results."
