Both 2K and 2L had the same problem.
Navigating around in OT is very slow. For example, a simple sort of the signals column in the focus list takes minutes. The focus list has 228 symbols. Other areas slow as well, viewing reports also takes minutes before the report is displayed.
Tech support has logged on and checked around and the problem seemed to be cured but is still present. Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing this?

When I try to run Omnitrader Package 2L and modify I got this message:
even though I was using an EOD profile.
After upgrading to RT, the EOD profile is back to lightening fast. Does this mean RT is needed for EOD profiles to work well?

RT is only needed in an EOD profile if you're using intraday timeframes.

Thanks Barry, I'm aware of that. My concern is why my OT is so slow in an EOD profile as I described but once I upgraded to RT the very same EOD profile is very fast.
Sorting on the focus list was taking minutes with 280 symbols. Viewing reports, selecting the pencil icon for Omniscan and then closing caused the focus list updating to take minutes. Nathan logged in and looked around and at the time everything was fine. This slow behavior just "happens" and can find no reason.

My guess is you're using intraday in EOD & at least one reference symbol somewhere in a strategy or chart template. Like a realtime profile, intraday bars in EOD require updated intraday data for any reference symbols to work right. So it could be that once you ran realtime it updated the intraday data for the symbol(s) in question. I would recommend adding any reference symbols that you use to the Universal Watchlist.

OK. Sounds very plausible based on what I have observed - thanks.
