I had to uninstall all parts of program due to disk error/corruption. During re-install, after installation I went straight to the Updater. During the process, while the screen said "updating RT Data" it just never finsished. Sure the message said this may take few minutes, but I let it sit an hour or 2. Now OT2009 will not load. Also, when I try to Uninstall again, the system goes straight to an install mode rather than asking if I want to Fix or Remove and won't let me go any further because it says I have a newer version installed. HELP!!! I can't run OT2009 nor can I Uninstall and start over.

Thanks!

Please try running the updater again by clicking the "here" link & saving it to your machine, then install it when it completes. If it asks to Repair, Modify, or Remove, select Repair. If it gets stuck at the same point for more than 10 minutes cancel it & let us know what operating system you're on.

I assume the "here" link you are talking about is the one for the complete version history. There does appear to be a link to download version 3R. Is that what you are referring to? Also, I use XP Home Ed. SP3.

Thanks!

Barry is not referring to the history link. Login to the updater. You should see it lists PR3F as the current version. Click the Submit button. This will take you to the install page. You should see either a grey button that says Please Wait or a blue button that says Install. Below that there will be a link that says Install, and below that a link that says...

If you are having problems with the updater you can download the package update here. This link will allow you to download the install package to your hard drive before running the install.

I did log in to the updater from the support page. The version history that I am referring to is the only place on the updater page where the word "here" appears, at least in a link.

The computer involved is at home and so I will have to try this evening. since I am in eastern time zone, I was just trying to get a little head start. I will go to the updater straight from the Program Menu.

However, I thought 3S was the current version.

Thanks

3S is the current version, but since yours did not complete we must run it again & select Repair. Hopefully it completes this time. Here is the direct link to the 3S update, so just click this & save it:
