Hello all, as I am not a computer person and just recently purchased a new one that has 32 Gigabytes of Ram yet when I run OmniTrader 2021 the CPU shows that it is only using between 2% and 4% and Memory shows it using around 550 MB. My 24 year old grandson mentioned to me that this should not be running this slow when checking my scans . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance, Gerry

I just upgraded to a fast computer as well and observe the same thing tapping up to around 7% peak multi-tasking and with OT running tests. My guess is that the 32-bit architecture of OT can't take advantage of the resources available. I'm sure there's users far more knowledgeable on this subject who could verify or refute this idea.

That's pretty normal since OmniTrader does not take advantage of 64 bit or multiprocessors.

Thanks Barry,
Are there any fixes in the immediate or near-term to resolve the slow running scans that plague OT2021?
Best regards

I'm not aware of any issues with scans being slow. Can you describe the issue you're seeing more clearly?
