Am having a problem with the focus list reports both manually and created through 'auto'. The generated report data -- title, profile and data grid do not fit within the margins of the defined page size (8.5x11 landscape). Have tried the recommended remove/reinstall of crystal reports and .not 2 -- to no effect. Any suggestions?

Click File -> Print Reports -> Print Setup. Make sure the Paper Size is set to Letter or Letter 8.5 X 11.

Barry,
That was the first thing I did... the setting is just ignored. What is worse, I have discovered that one of my profiles insists on printing in portrait mode regardless of the setting.

How is the report printing on a new Profile (File/New)? When was the last time it worked? Has anything changed since then that may have something to do with this?

Barry,
The only thing that has changed since I first installed OT2008 on this machine is that I changed from dtnIQ to eSignal and upgraded Photoshop to CS3 -- oh, and the usual blizzard of Microsoft patches... I removed the app and reinstalled all of it, including the .not pieces today, had no effect. There are two printers installed on this machine (both network'd) which are installed on all my systems -- Epson 1280 (utility) and Epson 3800 (large format photo). I have tried changing the paper size and orientation and it is just ignored. It always comes out as 8.5x11 with the margins apparently set about 2" outside the physical page size. This DBGrid thing that you are using for output, is it part of Crystal Reports or some other 3rd party tool? As an aside, for a while I did not run OT2008 reports while I was screwing with the IQfeed data problem, noticed the format issue when I resumed.

Thought I'd let you know this is still a problem.
I'm not sure what size paper OT Thinks I have.
But my left and right margins are close to 2.5".
Each.
So I've got a 2.5" margin, 3.5" report content, and 2.5" margin.
And then on the next page I've got the last remaining 1/2" wide column that wouldn't "fit" on the first page.
hmmm... maybe I should say I have #10 envelopes loaded. ;-)

Thanks, Bob.
Back when I wrote report writer code handling printer formatting was the most tedious part. Using a commercial report writer package makes it someone elses problem but only if the interfaces are coded properly. Nice to know I am not the only one...
