1. Close OmniTrader.
2. Download the attached FOLIOfn 3000.otp file & install it into your Profiles folder on your drive. The default location for the Profiles folder is in the C:\Program Files\Nirvana\OT2004\Profiles folder. Save the file there.
3. Restart OmniTrader.
4. Click File/Open & select the new FOLIOfn 3000 profile.

Yes, this profile can only be used with easy data unless you have TC2000. Those with TC2000 are able to set all symbols in their profile to use TC2000 data.

Barry,

I downloaded your updated folio 3000 and have about 70 to 90 symbols that don't correspond to the data being downloaded. Could you help me in this matter?

Can you please explain? I am not sure what you mean by the symbol is not corresponding to the data being downloaded. Is data not downloading for some symbols? Are you comparing the data from another source and it is conflicting? Is folio not allowing the trade of certain symbols?

I have 83 symbols that show a dialog box that says "symbol not found in the symbol database". I use Nirvana for data download.

There are a couple ways of resolving this problem. If you want you can add the column "Updated" to your focus list and sort by this column. all the symbols that are not in the database will have a date of "12:00:00AM". You can add these manually to the database by plotting them with the quick chart feature. You can create a new focus list and click File | Import | Profile. Put a check mark in symbols and select the FolioFn 3000 profile and import them. This will not add any symbol not in the database. This will update all the symbol lists located by clicking on File | Import | Symbol Lists
