Yesterday I installed Windows 11 over my earlier installation of Windows 10. After this upgrade OT-2023 (PR-2B) and Xenith are running fine but I am unable to connect OT to Xenith and get real time data. OT was connecting to Xenith without any issues in Windows 10. Has anyone running Windows 11 successfully connected?

Any help would be appreciated.

This should've been fixed in 2B. Do you have the latest Windows updates? Or the latest Metastock & Eikon?

The issue was that Microsoft added an update to Windows 11 that caused a problem with Xenith when used in 3rd party APIs. Metastock released a fix themselves, but also informed 3rd parties like ourselves to add a fix that worked with Metastock's fix. So as I understand it, you need Windows 11 updated, Metastock/Eikon updated, & our software updated for it to work.

Barry,

I am running Windows 11 with all the updates released till date. My OT-2023 installation is also updated to PR-2B. Moreover I uninstalled and reinstalled Xenith today but unfortunately still I am unable to connect OT to Xenith.

Did you re-download Eikon or use an older version? Mine didn't work unless I downloaded the latest version.

Yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled Xenith from MetaStock website. My installed Xenith version is 4.0.60018.

When I try to connect OT to Xenith, I get the usual "Connecting to MetaStock" splash screen. However after that the data doesn't start streaming as is normally the case. After some time I get the "Timed out waiting to connect to EikonBus" message.

Please note that in VT even the "Connecting to MetaStock" splash screen doesn't appear.

Have you restarted your PC after reinstalling Eikon? I do recall having trouble with it until I restarted.

Yes, I have restarted my computer also but unfortunately that doesn't make any difference.
