Go to Edit > Data Periods, and make sure that you have at least: for 5min tests: 390min/day / 5m = 78 bars/day 6/4/09 = about 1 year ago = 260 days * 78 bars = 20,280 bars for 2min tests: 390min/day / 2m = 195 bars/day 260 days * 195 bars = 50,700 bars I have done a LOT of experimentation with large numbers of data periods. It IS possible to get this quantity to work, but KEEP YOUR FOCUS LIST SHORT (50-100 ... not 2000), and before you do any testing, CHECK that the full data has been downloaded for all symbols. Do this by opening a chart in the timeframe you want, and then click the All periods-view button. Then PgDn through the full focus list. You might need to wait a pretty long time, initially, to get the data sucked in from the Server. | |
