However, I need to understand how Omnivest works on autopilot when the computer that Omnivest is on will be left completely unattended. Generally for five-six consecutive days and nights at a time year-round. I drive OTR for a living. I stay out a week at a time. I live alone. The idea is for Omnivest to be on total autopilot at home 100% of the time (internet access too spotty to be workable on the road). Before I lay down a non-refundable five grand for a new Club membership, I better know there are no quirky surprises waiting for me. By that I mean I assume that I need to keep my home computer running 24/7 with an always on internet connection(which I have--satellite because I live in the sticks). A gotcha might be that after a few minutes or hours of inattention, Omnivest will log out. And with nobody at home to log back in then the automated nature of trading will defeated. Or, say, MB Trading will try to log out somehow after a time of not sensing any activity. I have to be certain Omnivest and MB Trading(or the other two brokerages)will stay logged in 24/7 and is at least 99% reliable for automated trading for an unattended week at a time.
