Rob,

Close MarketScans and then open OmniTrader, Click Tools > Options > OmniScan and remove the check from Sync MarketScans list in Real Time Profiles.

You should not be getting those symbol message boxes but because MarketScans is attempting to add symbols not in your OmniTrader Symbols database you are seeing this. These instructions should help you use OT without the messages.
