Hi Jim I have made a stripped down to bare essentials version of your indicator. I would like to post this in a new thread are you happy for me to do that? It appears to work fine albeit that I must issue a health warning that the looping parts of jims code are not in my repertoire. and what is more in 20011 the plotprice bug seems to have gone. I hope that you could give it the eye over and I am wanting to developed from it but would like to talk about that in a new thread Best Regards John B

Sure John feel free. Maybe it would be helpful to include a link in your new thread, back to this one, so if folks want the full orig example they can find it easily.

Jim,
Because JB highlighted your Linear Reg indicator again, I started to look into it again.
Now I'm wondering, the indicator output is "slope".
If I would use Bar length 100 and EndBarsAgo 0,
would this be the same value as with LinReg_Slope(100)?
Thanks,

Sorry I just don't have time now to re-examine that code from quite a while back. I'm hip-deep in trying to get this Dynamic Optimization study group rolling.

No worries, I thought you might know from THE back of your head.
I'll run some tests tests and figure it out.
I'd love to help you out on your testing project, but I don't own SW yet.
Good luck.
