Enhancements: - In OT2020 PR2M in May 2020, a temporary fix was made to OT as a result of a Windows update that caused profile database file sizes to rapidly increase & error if they got too large. This fix helped prevent it but at a small cost of reducing the speed of analysis. Microsoft fixed the issue in recent Windows updates, so we have reverted our fix. - Added a Market Overlay method for use in Portfolio Simulation. This method overlays the growth of a market symbol, like SPY or $DJI, over the Portfolio Simulation test period so that users may quickly compare other methods with the market. The symbol & allocation may be changed in the Market Overlay method. - Added Micro Futures symbols to the futures database. Bug Fixes: - Fixed an error sorting the All Analyzed Symbols list. - Corrected an error opening profiles to the All Analyzed Symbols list. - Focus List columns now update when charting symbols from the All Analyzed Symbols list. - Resolved a problem with AutoTrade's Max % of Equity setting not allocating trades properly. - Fixed an issue with the Focus list sort tool not displaying saved sorts correctly. - Symbols can now be charted from the Portfolio when open positions are grouped by Option. - Fixed an error when the ToDo List would analyze an option symbol add to the Focus List. - Resolved an error adding new symbols to the database due to the watermark feature. - Watermark Names display correctly instead of N/A when using Metastock data with non-US databases. - Corrected a problem on the voteline when using the Guppy Trailing CBL stop as a broker stop. ------------------------------------------------- Here are instructions for downloading the update: 1. OmniTrader must be closed during any install. 2. Click on your Start Menu/Programs/OmniTrader20##/Omnitrader Updater & you'll be taken to the update page. 3. The most recent update will be selected already, so click Submit. (You do not need to install previous updates since previous versions are included in the latest update) 4. Click the Install button. 5. Select Run or Save. (Save first, then run if you have any trouble) 6. Run the update to install it. (If saved, the file is called OmniTraderPackage.exe) Finished! |
