Please!
The ETF Trading "project" many are working on generates MANY custom strategies. If one wants to start over, it is VERY hard to wipe out all the custom strategies associated with an ETF portfolio.
Please consider a column of delete checkboxes that can be selected PRIOR to hitting a Delete These Strategies button.
Please!
Thanks

That's a good idea Keith.
In the meantime, try hitting the 'delete' button for each next strategy immediately one after the other before OV get's a chance to refresh itself. Seems to work if you get a fast rhythmn going, I ditched about 70 strategies all at once!

So just keep hammering the delete key as fast as I can?
I'll have to try that...

Yes I'm a lousy typist but I've found I'm very good at hammering!

Ya, a quicker way to delete would be nice.
The fastest way I found was to right click on the "delete" and select "Open in new tab"
This deletes the strategy but also doesn't make it so it needs to repopulate the webpage.
So I just go down the list right clicking and opening new tabs and all the ones I did that for ended up deleted.

If I remember, Strategies on the list that don't not show a highlighted "delete" are Strategies locked into an existing, built Portfolio. Can anyone verify?

you're right, you have to find the portfolio they are attached to and either delete the portfolio and disable it from the portfolio.

Be careful concerning which strategies show up with the delete option.
It appears to me that for the strategy delete option to show up as available, the strategy simply needs to be not assigned to an account. Just assigning it to a portfolio will not remove the delete option on that strategy. Once (or if) that portfolio is assigned to an account - then the strategy delete option disappears.
Bottom line is - if you assign a strategy to a portfolio and that portfolio is not assigned to an account - the delete option will still appear for the strategy.
Perhaps someone else can verify my findings

Correct LD, a strategy can be deleted as long as it is not directly enabled in an account or not enabled in a portfolio that IS enabled in an account.
Oddly enough, it seems that portfolios can always be deleted even if they are enabled in an account.
