Good day,
I am presently running simultaneous ATM3 tests on two (2) of my PC's focusing on the Port Sim results.
Within reason - the Port Sim results "are roughly the same" for these two machines. However at times when making the same adjustment to both machines the results from these two machines are very different.
I do ensure that the Results, VBA > Chart Chart & Temp folders plus are constantly cleaned out.
My Question:
I seem to recall last year where a member in a post was querying his P.S. results. I am sure Mark H replied by saying that "he sometimes closes off his PC once he had made the Port Sim adjustments. He then re-opens his PC and only then does the Focus List run. That he (Mark) remembered Ed had once during a seminar made a brief comment on this requirement"
If my "memory" on this is correct - I would sure appreciate being given the relevant post link. It would be nice to be able to add this to ones check list.
Many thanks,
Keith Parsons.

I've been spending a lot of time matching Port Sim results. One thing to make sure of is that the data is identical. You can highlight all the symbols in the Focus List, right-click them, & select Delete to delete all data. Then run the ToDo List afterwards. That will allow both machines to download the latest data from the server.

Also fyi, these folders under VBA shouldn't need to be cleaned out. You can if you think you need to force a recompile on them & it doesn't hurt, but it should be a rare thing to do & OmniLanguage already has a force recompile function. Deleting these folders will cause OT startup to take longer.

Temp you shouldn't need to clean out, but can be good to do in certain situations. This will also causes OT to have a slower startup.
The results folder is probably the most frequently deleted thing we have. It shouldn't need to be deleted, but it does help many cases since this is where analysis results are stored.

Thank you Barry,
I should have stated "contents in these folders" - but certainly your points noted
