I subscribe to Reuters (Metastock) EOD data but cannot seem to get that to load into OT - I am sure it used to!! It looks as though Metastock may have changed the format - does anyone know if it is now possible to get the MS data (using the downloader) and use that in OT - if not, where can I get UK EOD Data from? since half a year I use EOD data by following download tool. It provides Metastock compatible data and CSV conversion functionality as well. The Metastock compatible data runs perfectly with OT 2014 (my preferred system) and my Metastock V11 version application Website: http://www.eztradingclub.com/products.htm EZQuote, version 2.02.000 (the full version) I could not figure out if the tool automatically replaces old symbols by new ones, also it provide this functionality. Many thanks for the information - I had a look and it seems to do the job but I was a bit concerned that it only claimed to run on Windows versions up to 8. I am all on windows 10 at the moment. I have now subscribed to EOD Data at EODData.com. The Silver subscription gives access to the whole LSE. It downloads on a scheduler each day and, if I choose Metastock Binary as the format, OT reads that with no issues. As there is currently (maybe always!!) a 50% discount there at the moment, I purchased 10 years of historic data for the whole LSE for $25. The only issue I have at the moment is getting some (don't need it all) of that historic data into OT. EOD Data supply a conversion utility but I don't want to have to convert each day of data individually for a year. I have also found that the symbol structure is different in the historic data to the current data (the historic data has a .L on the end to denote LSE and the current data doesn't) so the two do not merge but show as separate signals - have asked EODData for assistance with this and will report back when I have a solution. Metastock got back to me and supplied the original version of their download tool - this allows me to download in the original .dat file format which OT reads OK. So all now working and MS supplies the historic data by default. So I Guess I wasted a few $/£ with EODData, but at least I am up and running! | ||

as written in this thread on 28.07.2018 i am runnng EZQuote sucessfully. Except one functionality is not working. Update of symbols. You get most Symbols and international Indices based on the Status of 2017/2018. You Need to update it manually. Just ask EZQuote for a Trial Version so you can test if it meets your requirements.
