I currently do a daily download from a particular supplier but there are symbols missing from the data. Whenever there are delist/relist scenarios the new symbols don't seem to appear (e.g. recent split of Carphone Warehose into Carphone and Talk Talk). Is there only one source of data or are there many to choose from? | ||

SignalTraderData provides End of Day data for OmniTrader for the UK market. The data feed is provided by Signal Trader, who is Nirvana's Official Reseller in the United Kingdom. It is the most widely used data feed for OmniTrader in the UK. I already use signal trader but getting very dissapointed/despondent about the data. e.g. I signalled into ADD (Advanced Developing Market Trust) which delisted moved to Guernsey and re-listed as ADMF (Advanced Developing Markets Fund). This happened on 9th November 2009 - despite many requests the ADMF symbol has not appeared in the database so I can no longer track it via OT. I was signalled into CPW - CarPhoneWarehouse - this recently split into new CPW (With same EPIC) and Talk Talk Comms with EPIC TALK - this happened 2 weeks ago - the symbol TALK has not appeared in the dataset. These are symbols I know of so there may be others missing, but the point is the data feed should be picking up these changes and I appreciate I then need to add them manually to the focus list, but I can't do that if they are not in the data to begin with. I have been looking at MetaStock and their data feed to see if that will load up into OT - it seems to be $240 for all european exchanges for a year whereas ST is costing me £290 for the year for FTSE 350 and midcap UK only!! | ||

Any Metastock format data will work in OT though, so if you decide to switch to Metastock's Reuters DataLink EOD feed it will work in OT. | ||

But I am back with the same problem - where to get UK EOD data. I have subscribed to Metastock's Reuters DataLink EOD - but I am suspicious that they have changed format as I no longer seem able to load it in OT. Any help appreciated as always. | ||
