looks like the MSR is broke in both 2013 and 2014. | |||

Since I update OmniTrader 2013 to the latest release, when I want to take a screen shot of the chart nothing happens. Plesae advise. Thank YOu | |||

The screenshot functions are working for me. You might try restarting OT or even your machine. | |||

is there a reason beyond the fact you guys are really busy? Curious because i rely on this stat extensively when evaluating strategies, etc | |||

In OT 2013 Screen Shots does not work at all, also any profiles I create my chart patterns does not work at I have to click the Patterns Icon and close it then the patterns appear on my charts. thanks | |||

Frank, I'm not sure why your screenshot tool doesn't work - I've seen others post about the same issue, but I've tried multiple installations & it seems to work fine. The patterns issue is fixed in OT2014. | |||

In OT 2013 Chart patterns are not being displayed and my SnapShot in OT 2013 not working it's beginning to get frustrating always issues with the software, this takes me away from trading full time. thank You | |||

I think that Frank's point is that by now, the basic functions of the OT2013 should already have been debugged. I suspect that Bill feels the same way. Some folks prefer to wait on installing and using the newest release of OT, because (no surprise) it is usually a bit less stable than the final release of the prior year. Customers usually expect bugs to be fixed in existing versions, prior to introducing new versions. So ... Barry, could you please comment on whether and when these bugs in OT2013 final release will be fixed, for those who prefer to delay their use of OT14? Thanks. | |||

Again, the patterns issue is fixed in OT2014. Typically, unless it's a very serious issue, bug fixes are only added to the latest version of the software. | |||

I sympathize with the difficulty in assigning resources ... however my viewpoint is that fixing bugs that are bugs and not feature requests should always take priority over any new features. Otherwise, the product is never truly stable. It's a tough balancing act, I know. The problem that Bill mentioned, for instance, apparently was introduced mid-year in 2013. That kind of thing ... the creation of new bug with a new release, would hopefully be fixed even after the calendar has changed to a new year. Thanks for listening. It's an old song. | |||

I completely agree, but not everyone shares that viewpoint. If I had my way, we'd get a lot more bug fixes. |
