It would be nice to have a focus list column that would show what OS list the symbol is from.
Among other things it would help if sorted on the OS list to see which list is the most productive.
Thanks

By OS do you mean OmniScan? If so, the way that OScan lists work is that every symbol in that list are from the same scan. And the title of the Focus list is the same as the title in the OS window. So, it seems like an extra column would be redundant.
OTOH, if you are using a FL that isn’t based on a Scan - such as SP500 or a User list, then you can create a named column that uses the same formula that OScan does, which returns -1=true or 0=false. Create one such column for each OS that you want to have represented. This will work for OS’s that don’t cut off the number of symbols based on ranking, Those that don’t have highly constrained starting populations, and those that don’t use non-dynamic fundamentals rules.
Hopefully this helps a bit.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jim. I have several lists in the profile and if I use "All Analyzed Symbols" then I don't know which list a symbol is from without loading each list to look for it. Also, the OS list criteria may contain fundamental data and I want to be more granular in a sort than a binary.
It occurred to me that when I create custom OS scans with various criteria that seeing which list generates the best, or most or least signals gives me information I can use. A simple example might be using Zacks groups to see sector strength. Yeh, there are other ways for that but like I said, a simple example. E.g.: looking at Rhino Bear and Rhino Bull OS lists this morning, bull has 45 stocks and bear has 124 stocks - that tells me something.
It just seems to me that it would be handy to sort the focus list on the "OS List" column and it would provide another view of the big picture, tell me how each list is performing and some other things I haven't thought of yet.

I understand, Larry. This is a feature included with MarketScans (see picture), but not in OmniTrader. Good idea. We'd have to figure out what to do though when a stock is in multiple scans since unlike MarketScans, OT cannot have multiple of the same symbol in the list like with AAPL below.

This is a little different than what I had in mind. What I am trying to accomplish could be easily done with separate profiles but I don't want to have to cycle through opening different profiles.
I use several different custom Omniscans and want to see results all in one place. I am using an EOD profile.
E.G., I use a scan for option candidates. I want to sell premium so I scan for high IV, sufficient OI in calls and puts, etc. If I get signals in that list I look to sell vertical spreads or iron condors, et.al.
If I could sort my focus list on the Omniscan list source for the signal then I would know the intended game plan for the signal.
I would also be able to apply different strategies to the lists using the custom enabled strategies. With the focus list sorted by OS list I can select all the contiguous symbols in a list at once and apply the custom strategy selection.
So it boils down to almost the same as separate profiles but with the ability to compare many aspects of the results.
I created a giant profile this way before which was too much for OT to swallow so I realize there are some limits that would have to be observed but it would be a very handy feature. I am currently using 8 lists with a symbol count of 504 with All Analyzed Symbols and W,D H timeframes and OT is handling it fine. (I cannot duplicate the slow trading issue I had the other day.)
